Renaissance Capital Advisors ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit rencapadvisors.com (the "Site"), submit a form, call or text us, or otherwise engage our services.

How you opt in

You opt in to receive text messages by (a) checking the SMS-consent checkbox on a form on our Site, (b) replying to a message confirming consent, or (c) verbally consenting during a phone call (which we will document in writing). SMS consent is not a condition of purchasing any product or service from us. You can use our services without opting in to SMS.

Categories of messages you may receive

  • Service / customer-care messages — appointment reminders, scheduling confirmations, document or information requests, and engagement updates.
  • Marketing & promotional messages — educational content, newsletters, invitations to webinars, new resource announcements, and occasional offers.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your engagement and preferences. You can generally expect up to approximately 4 messages per month for marketing, plus service messages as needed (for example, appointment reminders).

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. We do not charge a fee for SMS messages, but your carrier may.

How to opt out (STOP)

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. Once you reply STOP, you will receive a single confirmation message and then no further texts will be sent unless you opt in again.

Carrier disclaimer

Carriers (including but not limited to T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and others) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Mobile information sharing

We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise transfer mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and phone numbers collected for the purpose of SMS communication are not shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Information we share with vendors who help operate our SMS program (such as our messaging platform) is solely for the purpose of delivering your messages and is governed by data processing agreements that prohibit those vendors from using your information for their own purposes.

Our SMS program is intended for users in the United States who are 18 years of age or older.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels and local storage) for analytics, site functionality, fraud prevention, and to remember user preferences. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and many browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies. Some features of the Site may not function properly if cookies are disabled.

5. Third-party service providers

We use a limited number of vendors to help operate our business, including:

  • GoHighLevel — customer relationship management (CRM), forms, and SMS/email delivery.
  • Google Analytics — website usage analytics.
  • Netlify — website hosting.
  • Google Workspace — email and document handling.

These vendors process information on our behalf under data processing agreements that restrict their use of the information to the services they provide for us. We do not sell personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes, and as noted above, we do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties for marketing.

6. Your privacy rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your personal information.
  • Receive a copy of your personal information in a portable format.
  • Opt out of certain types of processing, including targeted advertising.

Residents of California (CCPA/CPRA), Colorado (CPA), Virginia (CDPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), and Texas (TDPSA) have additional rights under their state privacy laws. We retain personal information for as long as is reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with our legal obligations (including TCPA consent records for at least four years), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's privacy

Our services and SMS program are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice (for example, by posting a notice on the Site or by email).
